There are various ways by which one can add role based authorization support in .NET applications. While "AzMan" is available in Windows server 2003 which privides basic authorization capabilities, for complex applications one needs to look at the products which offer sophisticated solutions. Cisco's "Securent" is a leading player in the market with it's EMS (entitlement management solution). Microsoft is coming up with the new "Geneva" claims based authorization platform which will offer the matured authorization support on Windows platform.
